CAUTION 2: SAI Ver.1 does not support high DPI monitors, and Windows 10 does not apply DPI scaling for SAI Ver.1. CAUTION 3: WinTab drivers for N-trig pen tablet(e.g. Pen pressure not working in Sai 2 So I have an XP-Pen Artist 12 drawing tablet and I'm trying to use SAI, but the pen pressure won't work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, I've tried restarting my PC, I've tried the tabletmousesimulation stuff, I've made sure 'min size' is under 100, I have click detection pressure set to 0 and it's.

Make sure Not to put SAI in the program folders. Instead place SAIs' folder on the C Drive ( Hard drive alone ).

For those who have been eagerly awaiting SAI2 (like me!), it's been released in a beta version with a lot of improvements, outline below which I've just copy and pasted from here (where you can also download the program from).
Please consider paying for the license, as the development team is literally one person, who has in the past, stopped developing on SAI because no one bought his software.
Canvas:
Maximum canvas size up to
100,000 x 100,000 px(64bit version)
or
10,000 x10,000 px (32bit version).
Save and load canvas as a private format (The file extension is '.sai2') (*).
Save and load canvas as a bitmap (.bmp) (*).
* These functions are locked by software user license. If you have a license of SAI Ver.1, you can remove the lock with your license certificate. Please download NEW license certificate WITH SYSTEM ID OF SAI VER.2, and put it into which of the following folder.
A. My Documents -> SYSTEMAX Software Development -> SAI2 Demo (The folder that is included 'settings.ssd')
B. The folder that is included execution file of SAI2(sai.exe).

Supported layer types are Normal, Folder, Linework, Shape and Text.

Delete, Erase, Fill, Merge.

Alternative view.

From only reading the description, this seems really cool. Perspective rulers are always awesome.

Yep, it's completely self-contained! SAI2 saves in a different file format from SAI anyway, so you can't get things mixed up.
I'm just happy that I don't have to click and rotate in line work mode to get a circle any more lol.

You will need to generate another licence file on the website, based off of your purchase email and the system ID supplied by SAI2 to unlock all current features.
Your current version of SAI will have a different system ID from the one on SAI2.
