Go in Finder to the folder that holds your pictures.
This is a 'How to' video explaining how to copy pictures from your iPhoto library to a USB flash drive, or any external storage, or really anywhere else on y. All you have to do is connect your external drive to your Mac, launch the app, click on the icon of the disk you want to format, navigate to the 'Erase' tab and click on the 'Erase' button while having 'Mac OS X Extended' selected as the volume format, as seen in the image below. If you like, you can also add a name for your future volume. Open the folder on your computer which contains the digital photo files you want to transfer to your USB flash drive. Select all photo files by clicking on them once while simultaneously holding down the 'Shift' key on your keyboard. All selected files will turn blue. Click on the 'My Computer' desktop icon. Transfer data from iPad to flash drive. A dialog box pops out in which you could modify the destination list name and select the destination drive and folder. Choose 'Save to folder' and select the USB drive that you plug into your PC as a destination folder. Click 'Transfer now' to transfer data via this iPad to flash drive transfer software. Select the ones you want to copy to USB. Drag those to the USB 'name' in the lower left part (sidebar) under DEVICES. Drop the pictures on the USB identifier. The pictures will be copied to your USB main folder.

If you want to copy the pictures to a folder on the USB device, you can open a second Finder window, showing the USB contents. Go to the USB folder where you want the pictures to go. Then drag and drop your pictures from the folder on your harddisk to the folder on your USB device. Your pictures will be copied to the USB folder.
